First South Bank announces promotion and addition to staff

Hunter Simmons, President and CEO of First South Bank recently announce the promotion of Wendy Coady to the position of Branch Manager and Loan officer at the bank’s South Jackson location. Wendy has been with the bank 16 years and most recently managed the bank’s Thomsen Farm location.
Wendy is a member of Unity Baptist Church and she and her husband, Bert, reside in Henderson. She is a board member of WRAP (Women’s Rape Assistance Program). She graduated from Southside High School and attended Jackson and the University of Memphis.
“Wendy has been such an asset to our organization. She always puts our customer’s needs first which is what First South Bank’s core value has always been” said Simmons.
First South has also added Scotty Wolfe to their team. Scotty brings 18 years of experience and will be the Branch Manager and Loan Officer of the bank’s Thomsen Farms location.
Scotty and his wife Carolyn attend Englewood Baptist Church and have 3 sons Peyton. Blake and Bailey. They reside in Jackson, Tennessee. He is a member of Lions Club International and graduated High School from McNairy Central. He graduated from Cambridge University in 2001 with a bachelor in business management.
“We are so fortunate to attract someone with Scotty’s experience. His high level of customer service and ability to do whatever is necessary to get the job done will serve us well” said Simmons.
