Mandy White, Senior Vice President of Economic Development, Jackson Chamber, Named Vice President of The Tennessee Economic Development Council

The Tennessee Economic Development Council (TEDC) announces its board officers for 2014-2015. The officers were elected by the membership at TEDC’s annual fall conference held in Jackson, Tenn.
Mandy White, Senior Vice President of Economic Development, Jackson Chamber, was elected TEDC’s Vice President for the 2014-2015 year. In her professional capacity, White works closely with Team Madison County to market Jackson to industrial prospects in an effort to locate them to Madison County. She is also responsible for the areas of workforce development, and existing industry relations, working closely with Jackson Energy Authority to identify and assist with growth opportunities for existing companies. Since her involvement with Team Madison County, a total of over 6,579 new jobs have been created with investments more than $1 Billion by new and expanding industries.
The Tennessee Economic Development Council is a statewide, non-profit organization created to unite the efforts of its members in furthering industrial development in the state of Tennessee. TEDC promotes cooperation and understanding among the individual members of the council and the varied interests they represent.
