Unemployment

Jackson, Tennessee, is in Madison County, the geographic and cultural center of West Tennessee.  Jackson's labor draw is comprised of Madison and the surrounding eight counties. Thirty percent of Madison County's  workforce commutes from the surrounding counties, and the number is even higher in the manufacturing sector.
