Vicki Bunch

Vicki Bunch is Chief Workforce Development Officer of the Greater Jackson Chamber, Jackson, TN. The organization represents 1,000+ business members in Jackson/Madison County and throughout Tennessee. Bunch began her tenure with the chamber in 2016 and developed/implemented the chamber’s workforce development strategy.   Bunch works closely with Team Madison County, the organization’s economic development team, to market Jackson’s workforce region to industrial prospects. Local businesses also rely on her expertise regarding their individual workforce growth, reskilling and continuous improvement needs. In an ever-changing market, her knowledge of workforce development grants and initiatives aligns her as a strategic partner for recruiting talent for their teams. She is also passionate about apprenticeships and work-based learning programs for students.  Before joining the Jackson Chamber, she was Executive Director of the Henderson County Chamber of Commerce in Lexington, TN. Bunch has spent her entire career in economic and workforce development, including Executive Director of the Southwest TN Local Workforce Development Board, where she created training opportunities for justice-involved individuals using Rural Initiative Grant funds, as well as Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA) grants to train dislocated and incumbent workers. Many other workforce and education initiatives she directed were grant funded, including the Southwest TN Reconnect Grant, and Labor Education Alignment Program (LEAP) Grant. These grants funded education and training opportunities in the southwest workforce region to better prepare individuals for employment and create a talent pipeline for employers.     She holds a B.A. in Public Relations/Marketing from Union University.   Board affiliations include Tennessee College Applied Technology Advisory Board and Tennessee Chamber of Commerce Executives (Vice President). Bunch has also completed TVA Valley Workforce Institute (2019), CompleteTN Leadership Institute (2019), UT CIS Workforce Development Courses (2018) and WestStar Leadership (2010).    Vicki lives in Jackson with her husband, Jason. They have two children, Will and Ella. She enjoys traveling, gardening, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
