McWhorter serves as the Deputy Governor and Commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development (TNECD). In this role he serves as a top advisor to Governor Bill Lee and manages the day-to-day operations of TNECD. Local businesses all across the workforce from landscaping\, child care\, hair salons\, assited livings\, healthcare\, food and resturant industry\, boutiques\, corporate business such as Wal-Mart\, Lowe’s\, etc are encouraged to come and see what these students can bring to your place of employment. This is a free event- our students have worked incredibly hard to create their resume and portfolio’s.
