Join Us For A Celebration of Music Legends: A Virtual Concert
In celebration of Black Music Month in June AARP has partnered with the National Museum of African American Music (NMAAM) to offer you a VIP experience to join AARP Nashville and guests from across the country for a special sponsored virtual benefit concert, Celebration of Legends. The concert will honor icons in music and culture and showcase the story of Black music as told by the new, Nashville-based National Museum of African American Music. During this live event, NMAAM will feature special tribute performances and present the Rhapsody and Rhythm award to the Fisk Jubilee Singers, Lionel Richie, Smokey Robinson and Quincy Jones and more.
The event will be live-streamed on June 17 starting at 6:30 p.m. CT from the red carpet. The benefit concert begins at 7 p.m. CT and will feature special appearances and tribute performances by:
