The Jackson Area Beekeepers Association will be hosting a Short Course to introduce new beekeepers to beekeeping. Anyone interested in beekeeping is invited to attend. Location: Madison County UT Extension auditorium at 309 North Parkway, Jackson, TN 38305.

The cost is $15 for individuals and $20 for a family (includes a one-year JABA membership). Pizza lunch is included, and door prizes will be given away. Registration begins at 8:30 AM and the course runs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Speakers from the JABA and the Memphis Area Beekeepers Association will be presenting including David Glover aka “The Bartlett Bee Whisperer”, David Hale of The Bee Cause in Drummonds, TN, Louis Padgett, and Kevin Woods of BEE 901 CO.
