You’ll want to be at these two fall celebrations!
The Fall Plant Sale is one of our favorite annual events. You can come to the West Tennessee AgResearch and Education Center not one, but three, days this year!
If you haven’t been to one of these sales yet, now is the time to go. They’ll have locally-grown trees, shrubs, perennials, and pansies available for purchase.
The Bicentennial Heritage Festival is a one-time event, to celebrate all of the agricultural and rural heritage in Jackson and Madison County. There will be over a dozen speakers, vendors, and exhibits, including:
-Wagon tours of Research Center
-Tractor Show
-Quilt Show
-Special Presentations
-Blacksmith
-Woodworker
-Glassmaker
-Petting zoo
-Beekeeper
-Food trucks
The Bicentennial Heritage Festival is a one day event, Saturday, October 9, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $5 per adult, and free for kids.
The Fall Plant Sale will be October 7-8 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, October 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Please note the plant sale will have a $5 admission fee on Saturday, as the Bicentennial Heritage Festival is also that day.
