A Grant Writing Basics Workshop featuring Dr. Jan Young of The Assisi Foundation is being held by the Jackson Madison County African American Chamber.
The workshop is both a followup to last year’s West Tennessee Business Showcase and Economic Development Conference and a precursor for this year’s conference which will take place Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the DoubleTree in Jackson.
Last year’s 45-minute Grant Writing session was so well-attended that Dr. Jan Young, executive director of the Assisi Foundation of Memphis, later offered to present a half-day workshop on the subject. The cost of the workshop is a nominal $15 and refreshments will be provided. TheCO is located at 541 Wiley Parker.
