Be prepared to tap your feet, clap your hands, and be swept away to the streets of Rio de Janeiro with the sounds of choro, Brazil’s traditional instrumental music. This concert will showcase a delightful array of rhythmic songs as performed by members of The Jackson Symphony and UT Martin Music Faculty. Said to be the “New Orleans Jazz of Brazil”, choro makes for a vivacious addition to this season’s chamber music series.
