Event Details

Come enjoy the glorious sounds of Christmas bells on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. on the grounds of the First Presbyterian Church, 1573 N. Highland Avenue. Carillonneurs Kathleen Huneycutt and Cody Blue Miller will provide selections of Christmas carols and other popular songs of the season.

Located on the historic site of the First Presbyterian Church, the Jackson Memorial Carillon and Carillon Tower stand as a remembrance of the brave sacrifice made by so many men and women during the World Conflicts of the past century. Dedicated in 1954, the carillon and tower were erected as proud witness to their life and death. While no words can adequately express the tremendous debt owed to those who gave their lives for their country, the Jackson Memorial Carillon rings in proud witness to their life and death. In God’s grace and glory, she will continue to stand for years to come.

The concert is free and is a gift to the community from the First Presbyterian Church. Parking is available in the adjoining parking lots or weather permitting, the public may bring chairs to sit on the lawn to joyfully listen and be blessed with Christmas spirit.
