Havner’s sponsors “What Jackson Is To You” Art Competition

July 7, 2021

Havner’s Frame Shop, located in the heart of midtown Jackson, TN, is excited to announce their “What Is Jackson To You” art competition. The art competition, which is open to all ages, will have two winners who will each have their original artwork framed for free by Havner’s Frame Shop: one from a child category (16 and under) and one from an adult category (17 and up).

“We are excited to offer this art competition throughout the summer,” said Charlie Havner, third-generation owner of Havner’s Frame Shop. “It is a great way to showcase local artists of all ages in West Tennessee, while supporting pride in our Jackson community.”

The Havner’s Frame Shop art competition is open for submissions through August 5, 2021. Art may be created in any medium, but must be flat and be 16 x 20 or smaller. Additionally, all artwork must connect with the theme, “What Jackson Is to You.”

Submissions for the competition can be made through social media by either tagging Havner’s Frame Shop in a photo of your art, placing a photo of your art in the comments of a Havner’s Frame Shop social media post, or sending Havner’s Frame Shop a message with a photo of your art. Age must be included with any submissions. To submit artwork and learn more about the competition and Havner’s Frame Shop, follow them at @havnersframeshop on Instagram or Facebook.com/havners.
