The Director of Leadership Development will work with volunteers, assigned committees, and Jackson Chamber members to ensure that the best interests of all involved is served in the area’s adult and youth leadership development programs.  The Director of Leadership Development will oversee all aspects of the Jackson Chamber’s Leadership Development programs involvement with its members and structure Chamber to best meet the members’ needs for leadership training.

RESPONSIBILITIES – Community Services

• Direct the volunteer groups responsible for and oversee the successful implementation of the following programs, as well as any other programs per the Program of Work for the area of leadership development.
  • Leadership Jackson
  • Leadership Jackson Alumni Association
  • Leadership University
• The Director will keep current on all areas of the Jackson community and understand the various interest groups of the community in order to assess the Jackson Chamber’s involvement in leadership development programs in the community, and make recommendations as needed.
