“I’ve been involved in real estate before by building, flipping, and renting homes,” she said. “I’m excited to shift my career focus to this arena and get involved in this ever-changing market.”

Before becoming a REALTOR®, Kim opened her own boutique which she still successfully enjoys, was the landlord for several rental properties, flipped houses, and has built three homes (and working on a fourth) as a subcontractor. In addition to this experience, she also enjoyed 14 years in social work and 15 years in education. Her connection to people is part of what drove her decision to pursue a career in real estate.

“It’s exciting to help someone find that perfect house they can turn into their home,” she said. “Connecting with clients and really understanding them is what makes or breaks any real estate deal. Closing the deal is a good goal, but it’s ultimately about serving with compassion and expertise.”

Outside of real estate, Kim has been married to her high school sweetheart for 34 years. Together they have two children (and their spouses) and 5 grandchildren that have stolen their hearts. She loves camping, football season, and serving at First Baptist Church. A family environment is important to her, and seeking that atmosphere prompted her to join Town & Country.

Shanice Creasy

Originally from Cape Girardeau, MO, Shanice has lived in Jackson since 1999, and she is a graduate of Northside High School. She was a competitive cheerleader for 10 years, and in 2015 she began her professional career in dental practice management. Her experience in that field developed the customer service, knowledge, and professionalism that she takes pride in.

“I love being available to help others,” she said. “Real estate transactions can be tricky at times, but it doesn’t have to be scary. I’m proud to have the opportunity to educate clients on navigating the process, whether they’re first-time buyers or frequent investors.”

When not bringing her warmth and knowledge to clients, Shanice loves spending time with her family, including her three sons, two of which are twins. She and her family are members of Fellowship Bible Church. In her spare time, she loves to be involved in small groups with her church and volunteering around the Jackson area.

Town & Country REALTORS® is pleased to welcome Laura Fetner as the newest member of its sales team. With years of experience in IT-related customer service fields, Laura is poised to bring caring, professional experience to her real estate clients.

“I chose to go into real estate so I could blend my experience in customer service with my interest in helping people find the right home for them,” she shared. “If the house fits, I want to be the one to help them buy it!”

Although she is new to the world of real estate, Laura boasts 21 years of customer service and IT fields, including leadership with AT&T. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in criminology, but what stands out the most about her is her genuinely friendly approach to people and her willingness to learn. Her outgoing but equally hard working attitude contributes to her desire to build her real estate business in Jackson.

“I love it here,” she said. “Jackson is a medium-sized town with a small town feel. It’s got a growing market, and it’s a safe place to retire as well as a great place to raise a family. I can’t imagine building a life or career anywhere else.”

When not selling real estate, Laura is busy with both her friends and family and volunteering. She is crafty and enjoys quilting, not to mention finding a great bargain. She also loves to participate in mentoring circles and has a soft spot for helping veterans, especially since her three children all serve in the Army. Joining Town & Country, a veteran-owned small business, was a natural fit for her adventurous spirit.
