David Knack

David Knack

On the heels of two consecutive years as West Tennessee’s #1 residential real estate company, Town & Country REALTORS® is delighted to announce the further growth of its agent support services with the addition of David Knack to the team as director of business development. In this brand-new role, David will provide creative, innovative problem solving to help Town & Country’s agents become more successful business owners.

“We’re going to reshape the expectations real estate agents have for the level of support they receive from their brokers,” David said. “No other firm in the area offers a service like this. Success breeds problems. I’m here to help agents break down and move through those problems and emerge stronger and more successful.”

“When agents run into challenges with their businesses, it can be overwhelming,” said Joey Hale, owner and principal broker of Town & Country REALTORS®. “The top producers on my team don’t have the luxury of a week to investigate and resolve where they’re getting stuck. David does. In this new role of director of business development, his sole responsibility is to make a significant, personal investment in those agents experiencing growing pains. We champion success for our agents. David is here to make sure they feel holistically supported.”

David comes to Town & Country with experience in both sales and small business. He has been a small business owner and was previously the number one sales representative in the country for an international technology company. In that role, he worked intimately with small business owners, nonprofits, and government agencies to untangle their difficulties and strengthen their service to clients.

“Ultimately, I’m here to make sure clients—buyers, sellers, and investors—continue to receive the premier service they’ve come to expect from Town & Country,” he said. “Agents need the space to focus on the people they work for, so I take on the business-centric issues that they otherwise wouldn’t have room on their plates to manage.”

David and his wife Ali have lived in Jackson for over 10 years, having made the choice to contribute to this community as best and as often as possible. David is a graduate of Union University as well as the 42nd class of Leadership Jackson. He will serve as the vice chair of the 43rd LJ class. When not championing people to shoot for the stars, he and Ali love spending time outdoors, whether that’s exploring national parks, enjoying scuba diving, or participating in disc golf tournaments. Professionally, he calls himself a geek for other people’s business.

“Most business owners are usually good at the main thing,” he shared. “Real estate, baking, photography, whatever—they’re usually experts at that. My favorite thing is to serve as a sounding board and help them with their pain points so they can focus on what they’re already doing that’s working.”

“There’s an unfortunate trend in real estate that agents join a company and then are left to figure it out on their own,” he continued. “Most agents don’t stay in the business past two years because they just don’t have the support they need to become rock stars. Town & Country is already the top company in West Tennessee for number of transactions, office environment, and staff support. Now we will be number one for investment in agent success.”

Brian “Koz” Kozlowski

Town & Country REALTORS® warmly welcomes Brian “Koz” Kozlowski to the top-ranked residential sales team in West Tennessee. Although new to real estate, the born-and-bred Jackson native is no stranger to running his own business, and he brings that experience and determination to Town & Country.

“It made sense to join Town & Country,” he said. “Friends of mine have been part of the team for years, and I’m ready to invest in a career field that helps others and creates opportunities for advancement.”

“Brian has hit the ground running,” said Joey Hale, owner and principal broker of Town & Country REALTORS®. “He’s already been embraced by our other agents and has a great energy about it. His business sense and teachability will take him far.”

In addition to his previous business experience, Brian comes to Town & Country with a background in agriculture, holding a Master’s degree in agriculture systems and soil science and 10 years’ experience as a research associate at the West Tennessee Research and Education Center.

“You could say I know West Tennessee from the ground up,” he shared. “Knowing the soil isn’t a requirement to sell homes built on it, but it does help me more fully appreciate the connection that real estate builds between people and the places they live.”

Brian is also a military veteran, husband to Tabitha, and father to Abigail and Asher. He serves as a board member for the Better Balance Foundation, and when he’s not building his business or serving the community, he can be found hunting, fishing, or spending time with friends and family. He is family oriented both at and away from work, a fact that contributed to his choice to launch his real estate career with Town & Country.

“This company has a family environment with incredibly motivated agents,” he said. “I am also grateful for the fact that Town & Country is veteran-owned and operated. There’s a camaraderie here.”

He went on, “Real estate transactions can be incredibly personal and often involve the whole family. It’s helpful to reflect that family mindset starting at the office, so I can really connect with and understand my clients to serve them the best that I can.”

Kim Holt

Town & Country REALTORS® is pleased to welcome Kim Holt to the team. A native of Trenton, TN, Kim comes to Town & Country from a long career in social work and education. Newly licensed and ready to dive in, she has undergone Town & Country’s unparalleled training and mentorship program.

“I’ve been involved in real estate before by building, flipping, and renting homes,” she said. “I’m excited to shift my career focus to this arena and get involved in this ever-changing market.”

“Kim brings great energy to the team,” said Joey Hale, owner and principal broker of Town & Country REALTORS®. “Her incredibly strong business sense and community ties to Trenton give her an immediate edge in this market.”

Before becoming a REALTOR®, Kim opened her own boutique which she still successfully enjoys, was the landlord for several rental properties, flipped houses, and has built three homes (and working on a fourth) as a subcontractor. In addition to this experience, she also enjoyed 14 years in social work and 15 years in education. Her connection to people is part of what drove her decision to pursue a career in real estate.

“It’s exciting to help someone find that perfect house they can turn into their home,” she said. “Connecting with clients and really understanding them is what makes or breaks any real estate deal. Closing the deal is a good goal, but it’s ultimately about serving with compassion and expertise.”

Outside of real estate, Kim has been married to her high school sweetheart for 34 years. Together they have two children (and their spouses) and 5 grandchildren that have stolen their hearts. She loves camping, football season, and serving at First Baptist Church. A family environment is important to her, and seeking that atmosphere prompted her to join Town & Country.

“This is an environment where people thrive,” she said. “The support system is like no other. It feels like a family that enjoys each other’s fellowship as well as working together to find the right fit for their clients.”

Teamwork, service, and family all drive Kim’s efforts as she embarks on this stage of her career in the West Tennessee area, and she is especially proud to serve her hometown of Trenton.

“I’ve got a motto from Dr. James Dobson,” she shared. “‘I would consider my earthly existence to have been wasted if I could not recall a loving family, a consistent investment in the lives of others, and an earnest attempt to serve the God that made me.’ Let me serve you next!”

Kandy Newman

Kandy Newman

Town & Country REALTORS® extends a warm welcome to their newest sales agent, Kandy Newman. Although she is new to the business of real estate, she brings with her 22 years of statewide sales experience and a focus on personal customer service.

“I have always loved working with my clients to fulfill their needs, dreams and goals. I pride myself in understanding the unique situation and needs of each individual client,” Kandy said. “Working as a Real Estate agent is a natural extension of what my business offers to clients all over the state. I’m excited to use this experience to serve my future clients.”

“We are delighted to bring Kandy on board,” said Joey Hale, owner and principal broker of Town & Country REALTORS®. “She is incredibly warm and dedicated, two traits that can help make an agent successful. A focus on service as we connect with people is crucial in this career. We are excited to see Kandy flourish.”

Originally from Middle Tennessee, Kandy moved to Jackson for love—literally. In 2016, she married her husband John Newman and moved to Jackson. Since then, Jackson has become her beloved home, and she quickly became involved in the community. Before that, she lived in Nashville, where she is a managing partner of a family owned business that provides services to customers all over the state.

“I have learned through my years of sales and service that you should treat people like you would want to be treated. I am blessed to have been very successful by doing this,” Kandy shared.

When she’s not hard at work caring for her clients, Kandy enjoys a wide range of hobbies, including cookouts, swimming, country drives, and Tennessee Titans games. She and her husband John adore their five children and six grandchildren; she considers herself a people person and notes that human connection contributed to her joining Town & Country.

“Entering real estate, it was important for me that I work with a very reputable company,” she said. “Town & Country is a growing, community-oriented company where I will gain knowledge from incredibly experienced agents, supported by an encouraging and honest broker. Like I have learned in my business, a focus on people over dollars is the foundation of a great client relationship. I’m excited to love and serve West and Middle Tennessee through this career.”

Ginger Williams

The team at Town & Country REALTORS® continues to grow as local real estate investor Ginger Williams comes aboard. Along with her background in marketing, Ginger brings her experience working with local business owners as the editor of the Jackson Business Journal and account executive as VIP Magazine.

“I love finding great deals and making wise investments and can't wait to teach and serve others,” Ginger said. "Real estate is the perfect way for me to connect families, business owners and investors with the best property to help them create a home or grow their business.

“Our Town & Country family is very excited to welcome Ginger,” Town & Country REALTORS® owner Joey Hale said. “Our firm has previously partnered with her on several investment properties, and we are pleased to officially bring her talents to the team.”

Ginger’s passion for service and real estate helped cement her decision to become a REALTOR® here and be a part of Town & Country’s strong reputation in the community for helping people and valuing integrity in every transaction.

Town and Country is actively preserving it’s 50 year legacy and I’m excited to be a part of its future. They have a deep commitment to see their agents succeed, and they have the best training and support system in the city.”

Ginger also brings with her an immense love of Jackson, which led her to join the team of authors of Jackson’s own history book, Jackson & Madison County: Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow.

“Jackson is at a turning point in its history,” she said. “This city is experiencing new energy across the board and is set to grow exponentially in the next few years. I especially love the strong presence of local art and the local people who love Jackson. This is my hometown, and I am so excited to be part of a team that loves this city as much as I do!”

Jay Grant

Town & Country REALTORSⓇ recently grew to a roster of over 30 agents, welcoming seasoned real estate agent Jay Grant. Jay comes to Town & Country with previous experience at Premier Realty Group and Nest Realty.

“I am very excited to join the Town & Country family,” Jay said. “The level of support they provide to agents is unlike anything I’ve seen before.”

“Jay’s existing background in real estate and personality make him a great fit for our team,” Town & Country REALTORSⓇ owner Joey Hale said. “He has a genuine, easy-going friendliness that makes him a true pleasure to work with.”

A West Tennessee native, Jay hails from Cedar Grove but looks forward to growing his business in Jackson and Madison County as the city and county grow as well.

“Jackson is Tennessee’s best kept secret,” he said. “It is a gem between larger cities, but it still has its own history and culture.”

Jay knows a bit about the history and culture of West Tennessee: before he was a REALTORⓇ, he enjoyed his time as the personal assistant to actress Dixie Carter. Now, he is excited to further contribute to the development of the region through real estate.

“I chose to become a REALTORⓇ out of a deep love for houses and for helping people,” he said. “Serving the people of this area is exactly how I want to spend each day.”
