Scott Conger and Dr. Jerry Woods will give their perspective on topics in this Mayoral Runoff Forum at Union University.

Union University’s Carl Grant Events Center will host a one-hour forum with the two mayoral runoff candidates, Scott Conger and Dr. Jerry Woods, Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. Candidates will arrive at 6:30 p.m. and will flip a coin for which of the two will make the first opening statement.

The forum, to be carried live by EPlusTV6, will cover a variety of issues affecting the Jackson community into the next decade.

By agreement, the candidates will not be provided any of the questions in advance. Each will have a 90-second time limit to answer each question.

West Tennessee Today is the primary sponsor of the forum. WTT news director and Union University professor Steve Beverly will serve as moderator.
