Mayor Scott Conger and the Jackson Area Ministerial Association will host the annual Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast in observance of the National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at the Jackson Fairgrounds Park.

The breakfast will begin at 7 a.m. and scheduled to end at 8:20 a.m.

The theme for the National Day of Prayer is, “Exalt the Lord, who has established us,” taken from Colossians 2:6-7.

“We come together again this year on National Day of Prayer to pray for our city, county, and nation,” said Mayor Scott Conger. “We thank the Jackson Area Ministerial Association for hosting the event once again.”

This event is open to the public to attend. Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased by contacting the mayor’s office at 731-425-8240. $80 table reservations (seats 8) are also available. Tickets will not be sold on the morning of the event.
