Jill Erling has been named as receptionist for the Jackson Chamber. As receptionist, Erling answers and directs incoming calls, greets visitors and assembles membership packets for potential residents coming to the Jackson area. She also assists groups meeting in the boardroom and helps with other daily tasks throughout the chamber.
“I’m very excited to join such an enthusiastic and passionate chamber team,” says Erling. “It’s very easy to see that their No. 1 goal is to grow and promote Jackson and the surrounding area to ensure a prosperous future for the community.”
“We are happy to have Jill join our chamber family,” says Kyle Spurgeon, president/CEO of the Jackson Chamber. “She brings a great deal of experience serving the public and will be a great asset to represent our team at the front door.”
Jill grew up in Iowa and has been a Jackson transplant since 2010. She graduated from Western Illinois University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a minor in management. Upon graduation, she worked as a marketing intern at the Putnam Museum and IMAX Theatre in Davenport, Iowa where she helped organize events and promote the facility’s museum exhibits and IMAX movies.
When Erling moved to Jackson, she worked in the food and beverage department at the Jackson Country Club. She has also held positions at Home Medical Products and AlphaMed providing medical equipment for patients.
In her spare time, Jill likes to hang out with friends, cook, read and attend local events.
