Chamber's Annual Celebration awards local businesses and volunteers

Jackson Chamber’s Annual Celebration honored businesses, industries and non-profit organizations on Thursday, March 16 at Union University’s Carl Grant Events Center. With approximately 400 in attendance, the celebration also honored the chamber’s volunteers, and highlighted businesses that have made an extra effort to achieve excellence through high standards, professional accomplishments and community contributions. Below is a list of the winners:

 This year’s theme was based on Jackson’s musical heritage with a new anthem for Jackson that debuted during the celebration. The song, “Jackson’s Still My Home,” was written by Josh Smith and Dave Thomas and recorded by The Hub City All-Stars. More information is available at
