Leadership University

Leadership University is a youth leadership development program for high school juniors from Jackson/Madison County.  Each year’s class is made up of a diverse group from public, private and home-schooled students. Leadership University creates awareness in all aspects of the community for participants of the program. It prepares them to become responsible, ethical leaders that make a positive difference in others, as well as their community.

Leadership University is sponsored by Lane College, Union University, University of Memphis – Lambuth Campus and Jackson State Community College. It is offered to participants at no cost, but to “Pay it Forward” to the community. Students participate in community service monthly during the program with local social service agencies.
