2024-2025 Leadership University Class Participants Announced

The Greater Jackson Chamber is pleased to announce the selected applicants for its 2024-2025 Leadership University class, a leadership development program for high school juniors in Jackson-Madison County.

The new class kicked off their Leadership University journey with an information session in mid-July led by Leadership University Chair Holly Dean, Regions Bank and Vice-Chair Ryan Blake, West Tennessee Healthcare Sportsplex. Later this month, Leadership University class members will begin with an opening retreat at Camp Mack Morris in Camden, TN.

Throughout the program, class members will meet monthly for engaging sessions covering a wide range of topics. Each session will include a leadership skill-building component, equipping the participants with essential tools for their leadership journey. Leaders from various sectors, including health care, criminal justice, economic development, education and government, will share insights into the current state, challenges and future vision within their respective areas.

“We are excited to welcome our new participants to Leadership University,” says Lauren Saliba, Greater Jackson Chamber vice president of education and leadership development. “We have an exceptional group of talented young individuals, and we’re looking forward to getting to know them and watching their leadership skills flourish. Leadership University excels at providing students with unique insights into Jackson, offering experiences they wouldn’t have had otherwise. They will form lifelong friendships and develop leadership skills that will empower their future. Our dedicated Leadership University board works tirelessly to create a truly fulfilling experience.”
