Members FAQ

What Does a Chamber of Commerce Do?

Our mission is to develop and maintain an economic climate that creates and retains jobs and enhances the quality of life for all citizens of Jackson-Madison County and West Tennessee. A chamber offers networking opportunities, referrals, educational opportunities and represents the regional business community on public policy.

What Does Membership Cost?

Your annual membership investment depends on the level at which member benefits best fit your business needs. To find out what your investment is for your business, contact a member of our membership team by emailing kdew@jacksontn.com or by phone at 731-222-2200, and we’ll be in touch!

Who Can Attend Chamber Events?

There are many chamber programs, networking sessions, and seminars that are exclusive to members only as a benefit of their investment. Other community events – such as the Business After Hours – are open to everyone, although there may be different costs to attend for members and non-members for certain events.

How Does the Chamber Promote My Business?

There are many ways we refer to your business. Our website gets over 30,000 views monthly. When people call or visit our offices, our team members refer to our members only. We are also a B2B connection! Members want to do business with other members, and we are happy to connect them.

I'd Like to Get Involved in the Chamber. Where Do I Start?

We welcome all of our members to join us and engage in our many events! Become an Ambassador. Member volunteers serve as Ambassadors for the Chamber and work to enhance member relations. Ambassadors meet bimonthly and can also attend scheduled networking events and member grand openings/ribbon cuttings.

I Don’t Own or Run A Business, But the Business I Work For is A Member of the Chamber. How Can I Get Involved?

We’d love to have you! Join us at one of our many events or seminars, or if you are 35 and under, join our Emerging Leaders Group. You can also attend and make new business connections at the Business After Hours. Contact our membership team to be added to our e-communications.
