Join West Tennessee Legal Services and the Jackson-Madison County Bar Association for our annual Law Day Celebration.This year’s event will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026, beginning at 11:30 A.M. at St. Luke’s Church in Jackson, Tennessee. We are thrilled to feature Joel Ebert and Erik Schelzig, authors of Welcome to Capitol Hill: Fifty Years of Scandal in Tennessee Politics, as our distinguished guest speakers. They will focus their discussion on West Tennessee government scandals, specifically Governor Ray Blanton and Operation Tennessee Waltz.Law Day is a national celebration of the rule of law and the values that have long defined the American experience. Our local event brings together attorneys, judges, civic leaders, and community members for an engaging and thought-provoking program that highlights the vital role the law plays in protecting opportunity and fairness for all.
