Heaven’s Cradle, a fund of the West Tennessee Healthcare Foundation, has made the decision to hold the 9th annual Twilight Run and Downtown Rendezvous this year, making changes to ensure the safety and health of all participants. The 5k race and 1 Mile run/walk will happen virtually at any time between September 24, 2020 and September 26, 2020, while the drive-through dinner featuring live music will be on Thursday, September 24, 5pm-7pm.

Early registration costs $30, which includes dinner and a T-shirt. The registration deadline in
order to opt for dinner and guarantee you will receive your shirt by race weekend is September
17, 2020. Registration without dinner is $25. Dinner will be set up as a drive-through at the
Farmer’s Market, where recipients will be able to receive their meal, provided by Baker Bros.
BBQ, through their car windows. The Kimberlie Helton Band will again provide live music to
enjoy while waiting in the drive-through line. The drive-through dinner will be available from
5pm to 7pm.

There will also be a virtual silent auction taking place on Facebook, with a variety of great items
up for auction. Visit and join “Twilight Run 2020 AUCTION Group” on Facebook and bid via
comment on items you won’t want to miss out on. The first auction is already in motion, with
bids being accepted until Sunday, September 13 at 9pm. A second auction will begin on
Tuesday, September 15 and run until Sunday, September 20 at 9pm. Winners can pay and pick
up their items during the dinner drive-through.

Participants in the Twilight Run will be able to choose the time and location of their Twilight Run
at any point between Thursday, September 24 and Saturday, September 26. Runners will not
have to follow a set path beginning from the Farmer’s Market, as previous Twilight Runs have
been organized; in order to encourage social distancing and safe participation, runners may
create their own 5k or 1 Mile a little closer to home, even staying in their own neighborhood if
they choose.

Participants may use their own program/app to track their progress, but afterwards must
manually submit their results to the Race Roster site. For an automatic process, Heaven’s Cradle
has partnered with the ASICS Runkeeper app to create a Twilight Run group within the app that
will track individuals’ runs and automatically upload their results to the Race Roster page.
This year’s Twilight Run will still allow participants to form into teams during the registration
process, and there will still be awards for Biggest Team and Most Funds Raised.
