Winner of the 2020 Elmar Oliveira International Violin Competition, Julian Rhee has been enjoying success since performing his first concerto at the age of 8.  Praised as one of his generation’s most celebrated violinists, Julian joins the Jackson Symphony to perform Mendelssohn’s violin concerto. After the intermission, join us for Tchaikovsky’s 4th Symphony- a work full of passionate intensity, and a cornerstone of the orchestral repertoire.
