Leanne Morgan, a comedian from Adams, in Middle Tennessee, will be performing at the Carl Perkins Civic Center on March 4. She is stopping by in Jackson during her “Just Getting Started” tour.

Leanne struck recent success with her YouTube special after it went viral, collecting over 50 million views. Leanne has been doing comedy for over 20 years, so with her newfound success, she feels she is “Just Getting Started”.

This year she is also publishing a book and releasing a comedy special on Netflix in April. Morgan prides herself on being best known for her relatability.

“If you’ve had a momma, you are a momma, you’ve had a husband, you are a husband, you’re a child that’s been in that minivan with somebody hateful, then you get me. I’m a storyteller about things that have really happened to me in my life and what I’m going through now,” Morgan said.

Morgan’s style of comedy is clean. However, she says it may be difficult for children to understand the material.
