Entering it’s 12th year, The Stone Cup is the golf championship of Jackson, Madison County Tennessee. Over two weekends, three golf courses and 108 holes of golf, the Champion Golfer of the Year is determined.
The first weekend is devoted to 36 holes of medal play at Woodland Hills Golf and the Jackson Country Club and Jackson National Golf Club to determine the top 16 golfers who then play up to four matches in Match Play at the Jackson Country Club, one of the most historic golf clubs in Tennessee.
Additional divisions include:
- Tommy Talkington Cup Medal for the low middle school, high school and college division players
- In 2016, the Beverly Pearce Cup was added to include the ladies’ division
- Senior Stone Cup division where the low Four Seniors qualify for Match Play
This is the twelfth Year for this tournament that is open to residents of Madison County, people who work here or go to school or are a member of a golf club in Madison County.
