Chickasaw State Park is hosting their annual youth fishing rodeo on June 11th.  This is a free event that takes place at Lake Placid.  They ask that everyone that is fishing come to the registration table in front of the swimming area before 9am to sign their kids up and receive a prize bag.  Fishing will be from 9-11am with prizes being awarded for most fish and biggest fish for kids 12 and under and also for most fish and biggest fish for ages 13-16.  Please dress appropriately for the weather and this event will be held rain or shine.
