McCoy’s Heating & Air Inc. started in 1982 with Owner, David McCoy and one truck. Thirty-eight years later, with over 60 team members, McCoy’s Heating & Air is known for quality service all over West Tennessee.

It was McCoy’s senior year of high school in Jackson, Tennessee, that he started working part time for a local plumbing contractor. David soon realized this was what he wanted to do for a living, seeing it as an incredible opportunity to be a helpful force around the community. Plus, he thought it was pretty cool to crawl around under houses and fix things and he loved meeting people.

His journey included hard work along the way. Upon high school graduation, McCoy received “on the job training” at a local company for electrical, plumbing and air conditioning work. He learned all three trades and what it meant to put the customer first. After three years with the company, he took vocational classes in McKenzie and earned his diploma in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.

Wanting to get into the commercial side of the business, McCoy went to work for a sheet metal company in Jackson as a service tech doing start-up work on new commercial jobs. He was the first tech for the company and soon grew the service department by bringing in new service customers, both residential and commercial.

David’s experience, training and great customer service create the formula for McCoy’s Heating & Air to offer the best service and products available - between cutting edge equipment supplied to its field technicians to its office technology as well. The company offers residential and commercial plumbing.

With the love for community, McCoy’s and its employees look to support every fundraiser possible, as well as support the public school system.
