David Blackwood, West Tennessee River Basin Authority, gives an update on the Middle Fork Bottoms Project. This project is in the works creating recreational opportunities for residents while returning the site to a more natural state, implementing Natural Channel Design techniques and floodplain restoration in portions of the area. Biking and hiking trails, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, waterfowl and wildlife viewing areas, educational kiosks and much more will be constructed.
