It’s our top priority to advocate for the business-friendly legislation that allows your company to grow and prosper. The Greater Jackson Chamber strives to offer governmental affairs programming to educate and inform members on local, state and national issues, and offer a direct connection to elected officials.

The Greater Jackson Chamber works to better the Jackson area by advocating for business through:

Monitoring and evaluating local, state, and federal legislation
Supporting or opposing actions that could impact the business community
Building and maintaining healthy relationships with elected officials by communicating business priorities and encouraging the government to be more responsive
Hosts CapitolTALK Town Hall meetings with our state legislative delegation monthly during the legislative session (February through April)
Surveying our membership annually to find issues of concern to shape and mold our legislative and community agenda
