Ronald McDonald House Charities: The Gift of Togetherness

Families with critically ill children often face the unimaginable challenge of seeking medical care far from home. To provide comfort and stability during these trying times, Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Memphis is expanding its mission into Jackson, TN. The new Jackson House that is currently under construction, is expected to be completed in Spring 2025. This expansion will offer a vital resource for families with children receiving medical treatment at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.  This is truly a great partnership made possible by West Tennessee Healthcare, Le Bonheur Children’s, our Forever partner, McDonald’s and the Gamble Family, and our founding mission partner, The Ryder Lewis Memorial Fund.

RMHC Memphis-Jackson, TN will be a beacon of hope for families in West Tennessee. Located on the second floor of the Hyatt Place hotel and developed by Hunt Properties, the facility is strategically positioned within the West Tennessee Healthcare’s Jackson-Madison County General Hospital campus. The space will feature 20 private rooms, a community kitchen, a living area, and a laundry area, ensuring families have a comfortable and supportive environment while their child receives needed medical treatments and care.

At its core, RMHC Memphis-Jackson, TN will provide more than just a place to stay—it provides the gift of togetherness. By reducing financial and logistical burdens, families can focus on what matters most: the health and recovery of their child.
