Rockridge Venture Law® sponsors Yale event on Energy Innovation in Appalachia, October 23rd

Jackson-based Rockridge Venture Law® is pleased to sponsor the upcoming event Green Innovation in Coal Country on Friday, October 23rd, 2020, from 12 - 1:30 p.m. This virtual panel will explore ways to harness private capital to promote climate action and innovation that not only benefits our environment, but also invests in communities getting left behind. Former Tennessee governor Phil Bredesen will offer opening remarks, and Dr. Daniel Carter, professor of Environmental Studies at Sewanee, will moderate the discussion.


Rockridge joins co-sponsors Yale Center for Business and the Environment, Tsai Center for Innovative Thinking at Yale (Tsai CITY), Sewanee Office of Civic Engagement, and Sewanee Integrated Program in the Environment in putting the spotlight on environmental innovation in the Appalachian region. Green Innovation in Coal Country is part of Yale’s Climate Innovator Spotlight Series, a program featuring innovators who are working to address the climate crisis through policy, technology, finance, and more.
