Valentine’s in Jackson

January 24, 2020

Are you struggling to decide what to do for Valentine’s Day? Maybe we can help you out with a couple of ideas for how to spend it in or around Jackson!

#1 - Downtown

What better way to spend Valentine’s Day than spending it savoring the charm of downtown? Start your date with dinner and drinks at the Blacksmith. Then head over to the NED at 7:00pm for NED Flicks, presenting “Sleepless in Seattle.” This light-hearted romantic comedy will definitely put you in good spirits. After the movie, grab a drink at Hub City Brewing to cap off your downtown date!

#2 - Classic

Enjoy an exquisite 4-course dinner at Carriage House Antique Market and Cafe. The atmosphere is quaint and cozy, making for a perfect date night spot. They are doing their Valentine’s dinner on the 14th and 15th, but we recommend going on the 14th that way you have Saturday night available to go to the Jackson Symphony’s “All You Need is Love.” Combining classic and pop love themes, it’s sure to be a lovely, romantic evening.

#3 - All In One

Why rush from one place to the next to build the perfect date night when it’s already been done for you and all in one place! Enjoy dinner and a show at the DoubleTree. The West Tennessee Repertory Company presents a live three-act comedy and Broadway classic. The DoubleTree is also offering two Valentine’s Packages that are sure to make for an unforgettable day.

#4 - Galentine's

Enjoy the best that Humboldt has to offer with your gal pals. We'll give you two ideas on this one because we just can't decide which one we like better! You can't go wrong with either one!

1. Grab dinner on Main and get to The Coffee Shop early for coffee and desserts.

2. Stop by Crown Winery for a wine tasting.

Whichever option you choose, end up at The Coffee Shop for a Galentine's Paint Party with Paintin’ & Grinnin’. This takes place on February 13 so you can have Galentine's and still enjoy Valentine's with a significant other!

#5 - Comic Relief

Not into the typical sappy Valentine’s date? Make the short drive to Henderson to hear nationally renowned comedian, Henry Cho. We suggest purchasing the Valentine’s Package which includes a steak dinner and a Gold Circle Seat (front 5 rows). This isn’t your ordinary Valentine’s date, and it’s definitely one that you’ll remember.
